Our medical director, Dr. Adam Piron, earned his doctor of chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY, where he graduated with honors. Prior to attending chiropractic college, Dr. Piron completed his undergraduate studies in exercise physiology at University at Buffalo. He is a board-certified Chiropractor and is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania for Chiropractic and Adjunctive Therapies (Physical Therapy). Dr. Piron has completed additional post graduate training in sports injury, spinal rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular rehabilitation and integrative myofascial release. In addition, Dr. Piron is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association.

After high school, Dr. Piron joined the United States Army and served his country for eight years as a combat engineer while attending college. His dedication to care for others has transferred from the armed forces to our healthcare system. Dr. Piron believes healthy living is the key to maintaining a great quality of life, and chiropractic is an important part of maximizing overall health and wellness. He is known for his personal care and remembering each patient and their health. Thus, providing quality and individualized care.

Dr. Piron and the physicians at Metro Physical Medicine Group are providing an integrative approach to healthcare. He believes the unique opportunity to receive traditional medical interventions, chiropractic care and physical therapy under one roof will bring patient care to the next level.

Clarice Licon, Occupational Therapist

Clarice Licon earned her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Center City, Philadelphia. During her time in school, she trained with a variety of therapists at multiple locations including MossRehab of Einstein Hospital, Virtua Health and Magee Rehabiliation. Clarice is board-certified in the state of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA). Clarice continues to further her education through interactive and online courses in hand therapyand upper extremity rehabilitation, interventions to calm sensitive nerves and nerve pain, and interventions to promote returning to work following trauma.

Prior to attending graduate school, Clarice attended Pennsylvania State Univeristy in University Park where she earned a bachelor degree of Science in Biobehavioral Health. Clarice was involved in multiple extracurricular activities including Global Medical Brigades during which she led public health seminars in a Ghanaian village, assisting in a laboratory to facilitate research, and a member of the Mid-State Literacy Center where she tutored foreign language speakers in English.

Today, Clarice is dedicated to helping patients at Metro Physical Medicine regain function in everyday activities.

Godfred Eyiah-Mensah, MD

Godfred Eyiah-Mensah, MD is a graduate of SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. After medical school, he trained for 2 years in General Surgery at Guthrie Clinic/Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA and at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Eyiah-Mensah serves as a General Practitioner in Central Pennsylvania and Philadelphia and focuses on acute/chronic pain management, physical therapy/rehabilitation for injured workers, urgent/emergent care and general primary care.

Dr. Eyiah-Mensah is an outspoken and active minority healthcare advocate and runs a non-profit organization (HealthZulu) which promotes improved health awareness, early health screenings and increased access to healthcare resources for minority patients in the Philadelphia area.

One of his passions include medical research and spearheaded clinical trials in prostate cancer research while he was a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University, and while working as a researcher at Harvard Medical School Laboratories, helped published two highly acclaimed articles in the prestigious journals "Cancer Cell" and "Cancer Research".

He is intensely passionate about medicine and his patients, and ardently subscribes to these medical philosophies;
