CONSULTATIONS
At Metro Physical Medicine, our goal is to develop unique treatment plans for each patient. We provide thorough consultations to evaluate individual needs and goals.
PENS (percutaneous electrical nerve stimulation)
PENS is performed by inserting a few needle electrodes either around or immediately adjacent to the nerves serving the painful area and then stimulating the area. PENS is used to relieve chronic pain, post-surgical pain, and pain associated with traumatic injuries that are unresponsive to other standard pain therapies.
REFERRALS & REPORTS
If we feel your case needs to be seen by a specialist, we will refer you to the appropriate specialist and provide copies of all reports.
